Project Overview

The Kennett River Escapeaway is a compact 102 m² residential build on Victoria’s Great Ocean Road corridor — one of Australia’s most demanding coastal environments. Salt air, high wind exposure, and the need for BAL compliance made this a site where envelope quality couldn’t be compromised. Panel Haus SIP panels were specified for the full wall and roof system, delivering the structural performance and thermal continuity the location demanded.

At 102 m², efficiency was key — the SIP system allowed every element of the envelope to contribute both structurally and thermally, without the waste and variability of conventional framing. The 124mm wall and 224mm roof panels provide strong thermal resistance for the coastal climate zone, and the full structural shell was erected in 5 days.
